The Story

The history of the Sciunnach’s family begins in 1945, when Marco Sciunnach, of Hebrew origins, after loosing both of his parents in the Auschwitz massacre, moved to Torino, where he worked not only as a waiter, but also doing other jobs to help sustaining his family.

The father’s tradition of handmade ties was kept alive by his sons, Danilo and Giacomo. The latter not only designs his own paintings, but is also the creator of the scarves and ties in our store, truly unique pieces of art to satisfy all the possible demands of our clients. All the ties are made in Italian Workshops, paying attention to all the details and using traditional materials, strictly Italian and of optimum quality, such as silk, linen, wool, cotton and cashmere. In April 2001, the Pope John Paul II makes visit to the Sciunnach family at their store, due to the proximity of the store to the Ecclesiastical Academy.
